Jahmir Brown is well and truly in the hot seat right now. We’re proud to announce two video projects featuring Jahmir. First, we produced a mini documentary on Jahmir’s rise and his hometown of Philly as part of their Push Your Own Story campaign. Following the documentary, Jahmir also just dropped a full skate part titled Play it Back.

When it comes to skateboarding footwear, the Lynx OG is hallowed ground — especially for someone like Jahmir who grew up selling them at Nocturnal Skateshop in Philly. Originally released in 1998, the bold athletic-inspired silhouette and skate-focused design made the Lynx an instant classic that truly set a new standard for skateboard footwear. But the influence of the Lynx went far beyond the world of skateboarding. By popular demand, we started reproducing the Lynx OG to the exact specs as the original as part of our RESERVE program. The shoes always sellout fast, and this is sure to be the case with Jahmir’s colorway.

Having his name on his favorite skate shoe is an honor that Jahmir has earned the hard way. Coming from the tough streets of Philly, none of this success was ever guaranteed, but skateboarding presented Jahmir with fresh opportunities that he took full advantage of, as he claimed his spot on the DC team and earned the chance to travel and skate all over the world thanks to his inimitable style and skill.
